In a way, it's nice having basically half of my friends living in Japan because I can at least get the right information when I need it. I had a hilarious conversation with my friend Toru last week when he called. He was telling me all about the ridiculous news on both sides of the Pacific and was saying, "If you're a journalist and you have time to stand on the beach and sob, then PICK UP A BAG OF RICE AND FEED SOMEONE!!" I loled so hard. XD
